Picturesque Cuba.Havana

A book of photographic views of Havana,Cuba.No date,publisher or edition stated.The latest date mentioned in the introduction is 1902 and Malecon Park is referred to as one of Havana's recent improvements(see fifth picture) so likely dates from the early part of the 20th century.There are no cars,only horse drawn vehicles and trains.The book comprises one introductory page and 39 pages of views with either one,two or four views per page.Some of the images have accompanying descriptions.The pages are not numbered.

Paperback Original.Measures around 25 cm by 20 cm.

Paperback.Large format.Stapled format.Lettered and decorated in gilt and green to the front panel.Covers are grubby and marked,slightly nicked at the edges.A little light creasing.Internally clean and bright with only slight marking.The two central sheets(i.e.8 pages-the sheets are double page) are detached from the staples which have rusted internally.There are no ownership markings.

Overall in Fair condition.
