1. With the front of the camera facing down and the back cover facing up, lower the door lock on the right side and open the back cover.

2. Insert new film and set it so that the hole in the film catches the claw of the winding spool. Load the film with the long tongue facing up.

*When replacing the film, be sure to turn off the flash to avoid electric shock, and avoid touching the battery compartment behind the flash or the battery compartment at the bottom. Also, never disassemble the camera.
*If you apply too much force, the film may tear.

3. Press the film lightly with your fingers to flatten it, and then use the preload lever to wind it up a little. Once the film is fed normally, close the back cover while holding the preload lever.

4. While pushing the preload switch to the left with your fingernail, turn the preload lever counterclockwise. The preload lever should stop when the film is finished loading.

5. After returning the preload switch to the right, turn the winding dial until it stops. You are now ready to shoot.
