This is a full wrapping of the actual 500 TYPE EVA car with the entire body painted in the same way as the actual car, which is the "most difficult ever. In the painting and printing process of the lead car, which is particularly impressive, professionals at Sekisui Kinzoku repeated prototypes and selected a method unprecedented in the 50-year history of N gauge production. The "500 TYPE EVA" began operating on the Sanyo Shinkansen's "Kodama 741 and 730" trains in November 2015 as part of the "Shinkansen: Evangelion Project" commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Sanyo Shinkansen's full line opening and the 20th anniversary of the "Evangelion" TV broadcast. It was designed by Ikuto Yamashita, the mechanical designer of "Eva," and supervised by Hideaki Anno, the general director of the project. The Series 500, with its unique futuristic form with excellent aerodynamics to achieve a top speed of 300 km/h, matches perfectly with the purple-based livery of the first Evangelion train and has succeeded in grabbing new fans.
