This 1940s Barclay Rhinestone Leaf Brooch is stunning with a design construction that is unique while providing a classic three dimensional presentation of this tiered and layered leaf. The central piece of this leaf design provides depth while also serving as a means for covering the riveted setting for the pink rhinestone sprays that flow from the leaf that simply appear to be a part of the leaf.

Each leaf stem is accented by pave set rhinestones and all pink rhinestones are prong set. The matching earrings have the same great design. This brooch is a great piece to add to your collection, a great set to pull out anytime to make a classic and gorgeous statement to any outfit. Barclay split from Rice-Wiener in the early forties and opened for business as Barclay in 1946. As they closed their doors in 1957, they were only in business for a short time, making their pieces rare and hard to find.

Excellent condition in every way, the finish on these pieces leaves a feeling of being "awash" in gold. The pink rhinestones are all prong set and have excellent color. The brooch measures 2 3/4" tall and 2 1/2"
