This frame is a modern reissue of the Tart Arnel Tart Arnel type

double diamond frame that James Dean wore in the 1950s.
In fact, the model that James Dean wore was not a Tart frame but

a Universal frame, but the Universal brand is no longer in existence,

and Tart has a history of selling reprinted versions of its own Arnel

frames.
The design is somewhere between mid-century American-style

Wellington and Boston, with a beautiful keyhole bridge and double

diamond rivets on the front and temples.
The hinges are also made of solid 5-piece hinges just like vintage

frames.

The size is 46/23, which is an exquisite size.
The size is PD69mm, so it fits most Japanese faces.
Several brands have reissued the James Dean model,

but these frames are very close to the original in size,

with double diamonds and a three-dimensional feel.
The frames come with dark gray clip-on sunglasses,

so you can use them as sunglasses by attaching the clip-on.
Original eyeglass case and cloth are included.
