OFFERED ... a rare pre-prohibition shot glass, circa 1873-1887, The Dayton Distilling Co., Dayton, Ohio, and Chattanooga, Tennessee.  The shot glass is thin-walled with white, acid-etched decoration for "Old Mont=Day," a brand name used by the company. The decoration is described in an online site as, "THE DAYTON DISTILLING CO. (arched over a floral wreath enclosing:) / "Old / Mont=Day" (both lines script) / DAYTON, O. CHATTANOOGA, TENN. (reverse arched below wreath)."  Measurements:  2 1/2" x 2" x 1 1/2".

It is in very good authentic antique condition with two MINOR DEFECTS:  TINY flea bite at rim; bubble at "D" in Dayton, lower portion of glass.

NOTE:  With purchase of the shot glass, I will include some additional printed information found online.
