This is a Canon 85mm f1.5 Type II Vintage Fast Portrait Lens. L39 LTM Mount. It has the EP marking. Distance scale is in feet. Comes with 85mm finder. From a local estate. Has some issues. Read details below before bidding. USA buyers only since the package will require a personal signature.
Cosmetics-Clean overall with some general wear. Looks like it was not used much. It would make a pretty nice display item in a collection. Operationally the focusing moves through its range ok but is firm from old dry lubrication. The aperture adjusts ok but the blades have oil on them. Optically the front element has a good amount of cleaning scratches. Some heavier than others. Additionally the inside rear elements have lots of defects. See photos. I am not sure if its fungus or some other type of damage ?? It was in storage for many years. Would need a CLA and service. See lots of photos of what you are getting. Sold AS IS.
Includes the lens, Helioplan UV filter, front & rear caps, 85mm finder, and original case seen above. The front cap has corrosion coating loss. The rear cap has some type of light imprint lines on the side. The finder optics have some dust but is clear otherwise. See last photos above. Nothing else is included.
