Description
The mechanism uses the DD (direct drive) method of rotation, with the motor rotation part integrated with the turntable and the fixing part integrated with the cabinet, making it a uniquely structured DD motor. In addition, the full-integral FG detects accurate rotation speed all the way around, which enables highly accurate signal detection and realizes high rotation accuracy and high-power starting torque. Furthermore, a purely electronic brake is used for the stopping mechanism, which quickly applies the brake and releases it as soon as the motor stops.
The quartz synthesizer system, combined with the DD motor and the high signal detection accuracy of the full circumference detection FG, ensures accurate rotation. The continuously variable pitch control is also quartz-locked and can be fine-tuned to the desired pitch. This pitch control slider omits the center click for smooth operation.
A three-layered cabinet is used as a vibration isolation measure against direct sound pressure and external vibration of the speaker, with high-rigidity die-cast aluminum on the top, integrally molded TNRC (Technics Non-Resonance Compound) on the inside, and special heavyweight rubber on the bottom. The backside of the turntable is covered with a dead dead space. Furthermore, the backside of the turntable is covered with a deadening rubber to improve vibration resistance. In addition, a large insulator with double springs reduces the influence of external vibrations.
The tone arm is made of precision die-cast aluminum to reduce the effects of external vibrations. The gimbal suspension is used for the bearing structure, and the center of rotation is clearly defined at the intersection of the vertical and horizontal rotation axes to achieve the same excellent initial sensitivity in all directions.
