I just tested it!!! Totally works, you have to slide the water pet in and then kind of push down a little and feel it click into place before the water will flow thru the system- I think that’s how it’s supposed to be but I thought I would share that because it took me a minute to figure it out without instructions. I love this coffee pot it’s so unique and cool!!! It has a working clock on it!!! And has a brew set option but I didn’t try to figure out all that, that kind of stuff is hard for me, lol. The warmer plate under where the coffee pot goes gets hot!!! Everything’s good!

This would be perfect for a movie prop where they need to see old school coffee brewing, or for a collector or someone who just loves coffee and wants an 80’s vibe going on! Love this piece for real!!!
