BRADBURY, RAY. The Nefertiti-Tut Express -  Illustrated by Gary Gianni. Glendale: RAS Press, 2012. First Edition, First Printing. Signed by illustrator Gary Gianni. The last Ray Bradbury book published in Bradbury’s lifetime. A haunting ghost horror tale taking place in 1880s Egypt with a passenger train that has left Cairo running out of fuel to burn. The inhabitants of the train forage around the nearby area and discover an ancient tomb yard and they steal dried mummies to burn in the engine. A original outline story for a screenplay that Bradbury was never able to get produced, the manuscript was lost for many years until being recently rediscovered and published here, illustrated with 15 remarkable color illustrations by Gary Gianni. The book was published April 25, 2012, and Ray Bradbury viewed the finished book on May 11th, and was very moved by the result, and at which time he wrote "The Nefertiti-Tut Express is a beautiful and fantastic book!" Ray passed on June 5, 2012 less then a month later. 12 by 9 inches. Paperbound. As new.
