Very Good+ with light wear, offset at endsheets; sticker residue at front free endpaper. In a Very Good unclipped dust jacket with edge tears; tear to bottom front joint. Light toning, fading to spine, soiling with moderate foxing to verso.

Photocopied 1p TLS dated Feb. 10, 1991 from Guthrie to the former owner Burton Milward laid-in with Burton Milward, Jr. letterhead envelope postmarked 20 Feb. 2001 from The Captain's Bookshelf, Inc. This letter refers to Guthrie's inscription inside the book.
