Notes: there is a "Prisoner of War Camp No 1" oval under censor tape. This cove came with a note indicating Bowmanville Camp but that site opened in late 1941, whereas this cover is dated April 1941. Not sure which camp had designation of No 1 in the early days

Please note: mailed covers / postcards, matchbooks, etc. condition usually show normal wear to tips and edges, some creases and wrinkles. Old postcards, covers or other old paper documents will usually show various degrees of toning
