Founded in mid-2022, the company started with a few key kits as a baseline to grow our portfolio. From here we will interact with our customers to identify what railway enthusiasts require / want and prefer regarding building and construction methodology.

Where some are preferring an easier snap-together kits for rapid creation and others favour a more simplistic construction to allow for modification to adapt to their needs, we inspire to provide both. Features and further details
This 4mm / OO gauge laser cut single track straight-through typical modern prefab metal engine shed is constructed from strong 3mm MDF. Modelled from your typical 1970?s to present corrugated steel servicing depot, this shed is ideal for servicing small to medium sized locomotives. With its simple design and clean lines, this kit can be adapted to any layout and industrial scenic needs.
This versatile kit includes the following features:
- Simple construction and design
- Options of open or closed shutters
- Straight-through single track design (Shutters at both ends)
- Side shed with adaptable positioning
- Internal supporting framework for strong construction
Model comes as an unpainted laser cut kit. Parts will have to be removed / prepared and painted prior to construction. Basic tools / materials required to complete kit as pictured:
- Modellers knife
- Sand paper
- Wood glue / PVA glue
- Paints
Multiple kits can be combined to achieve longer or wider setups with minimal modification. Single kit dimensions are as follows:
Hight = 114mm
Length = 275mm
Width without side shed = 130mm
Width with side shed = 170mm
Environmental Impact -
LaserKitz also endeavour to produce our products with the environment in mind. The laser cutters are power by a 6KW solar array system and solar energy is used during the manufacturing process were possible. No plastics or non-recyclable materials are used during the manufacture, packaging and processing of all our products.
Creation Process -
All LaserKitz models are designed by and copyrighted by LaserKitz Ltd. All kits are produced using high power laser cutting equipment capable of cutting through 12mm MDF / Ply, enabling LaserKitz to provide thick sturdy construction and precision cut detail. All kits come securely boxed with easy-to-follow colour instructions.
