Graham Slee Accession MC black + PSU1 Enigma power supply
Accession MC Phono Stage, incl PSU1 Enigma power supply!
Graham Slee's Accession is a very special phono preamplifier. It is optimized for connecting high-quality MM or MC pickups.
A special RIAA equalization enables particularly low distortion, especially in the high-frequency range. The sound image appears freer and finer as a result.
The equalization curve is designed according to RIAA, here the accession follows Allen other phono stages.
However, the Access can do more: At the push of a button, it offers further characteristics in order to adapt the reproduction as best as possible to the original: in addition to RIAA also NAB (pressings from the USA) and FFRR (pressings from England). The differences are clearly audible, the Accession offers with NAB or FFRR-equalized pressings a much more natural sound.
Thanks to complex electronic components, the entire pre-stage is particularly low-noise. The powerful analog power supply (PSU1) with 24V voltage enables the Accession to have a high headroom - this also contributes to an exceptionally low level of distortion. The analog power supply PSU1 in the Enigma variant has been specially developed for MC cartridges. This power supply also refines the sound.
The Access offers both fixed and variable output voltage. A volume control on the front panel is useful if you want to connect your Accession directly to a power amplifier (eg Graham Slee Proprius).
