- For some models, as the vehicles do not have an ignition feed or an illumination feed to the radio, the new radio unit may be fitted constantly live and would drain the battery. So the red ACC (ignition) and orange ILL (illumination) both need to be connected to a +12v ignition based source. Using a multi-meter, determine which cable is the +12v ignition source and join a wire from here to connect both the red ACC and orange ILL wires on the manual connection plug. Just contact us if any questions.
