Description This book is about my recovery from a gliding accident in Germany, where I was stationed in the Royal Air Force. I hope that my amusing experience will appeal to anybody connected with the military, however loosely, past or present, and anyone finding themselves trapped in a hospital bed for weeks on end and in need of a giggle. There are many diversions, both comical and insightful, about the great characters that I met along the way, giving a human-interest story and highlighting the wonderful recovery process in the RAF. There are plenty of interactions going on, enough to keep us cheerful while we all recover from our injuries. I explain about my accident and detail other gliding activities, plus I tell of other stories of my life, back then.
