This is a magnificent vintage Navajo large chunky four stone silver bracelet. This museum quality bracelet contains four remarkable chunky Red Mountain turquoise stones. Surrounding each stone are impeccable silver works that consist of large raindrops, ropes and shells. This bracelet contains a fabulous thick and sturdy triple silver shank cuff with the center shank being a thick coiled shank. I absolutely love the detailing on this bracelet. The width of the bracelet measures around 1"¼ Signed by Navajo artist, pete Morgan Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century . The inside end to end measures around 5"⅝ with an additional 1"⅜ gap. Sturdy 50.3 grams. Hand wrought by famed Navajo Silversmith Pete Morgan.  Red Mountain Turquoise

Nevada

The highest grade of turquoise from this Northern Nevada mine is a beautiful dark spider-webbed stone. The webbing is often golden or reddish in color, and the stone is hard and collectible. Austin Turner owned the mine for many years. Much of the turquoise had already come out of the mine by the time Turner acquired it, but from 1982-1985 Erman Blossom and his partner leased the mine, removing a good amount of stone. Turner sold the mine in 2003 and today turquoise is still found in the old mine’s dump area
