An impregnated, electromagnetic HID-Basic semi-parallel copper ballast from Philips Lighting that is a reliable and robust solution for running CDM, CDO, MH, SON and HPI lamps rated at 50 Watts. This Mk4 version offers improved thermal management features, resulting in a cooler ballast and comes equipped with screw terminal blocks for ease of installation. Featuring End of Lamp Life protection as standard it also boasts minimal watt loss. This ballast is for outdoor applications and horticulture lighting solutions. This ballast requires an external semi-parallel ignitor (not for SON-I lamps).
