This is an original press photo. Solomon Islands - An Australian Air Force Iroguois surveys the wreckage of a bridge smashed by floodwaters and debris following Cyclone Namu. The bridge over the Ngalebieu River connected Honiara with the Guadalcanal Plain. 101 people are known dead in the disaster and thousands homeless. Picture made May 26. Photo measures 10 x 8.25inches. Photo is dated 05-26-1986.
