7-lines script, rare Burmese "round script"

Complete manuscript with 10 leaves made of strips of coarse cloth / monks robe plus 2 wooden covers.

cover with donor's inscription (dated 1257 = 1895), western angels in Myanmar dress and lions, also running lions are illustrated on the leaves

condition: most minor chips, gilding partly rubbed, overall very good, especially considering age and use (see picture, source: Preserving Myanmar’s ancient Kamawa, Myanmar Times, 29.10.2020)
