Here is a group of 4 vintage ladies wartime / souvenir hankies that may date from the WWI and WWII era. Pre-owned used condition. Three hankies may be silk and the red hanky may be an acetate or nylon type fabric.

I have placed a ruler in some pictures for size reference. The hankies are approx. 6 3/4" - 13" square and 1 is a rectangle about 11" x 14 1/2".

Pre-owned condition. Folds and wrinkles as shown. I did not wash or iron these hankies. Each shows some aging and has wear, defects. No musty or smoke odor.

- ivory silk with hand rolled hem, painted "Paris FFI" and crossed Paris and Union jack flags decoration at one corner. Minor smudges, one pinhole at the lower tip below the decoration, and a few minor pulls.

- red nylon with white scalloped hem, white "UNITED STATES USN NAVY" embroidery at one corner. Faint smudges, one fabric thread imperfection.

- green silk with lace border, with silky rose and "To my dear Sister" embroidery at one corner. There is a fray /tear along two folds, and some minor frays here and there.

- ivory silk and lace patchwork, lace border. There is a patch with flowers and "Sweetheart mine" on the center. The silk has many frays, tears, aging and water stains.
