1956 Press Photo Men arrested in acid-throwing incident on Victor Riesel

Seized In Acid Blinding of Labor Columnist-These four men were arrested last night by FBI agents as the underworld masterminds behind the acid blinding of labor columnist Victor Riesel April 5. From left they are racketeer Johnny Dio (Dioguardi), 42; his brother, Thomas, 40, an executive in a cotton goods firm; Domenico Bando, 47, a Brooklyn baker, and Charles Tuso, 44, a garment worker. They were charged with conspiracy. These photographs were made early today and released by the FBI.Photo measures 10 x 8.25inches. Photo is dated 08-29-1956.
