The Phono Box S2 Ultra is like no other in its segment. The incredible success of our Phono Box Ultra 500 encouraged us to introduce this phenomenal sounding phono preamplifier to our regular S2 line. The solid metal housing protects against interference and the internal design remains spectacular as before.

We offer a fully discrete, OpAmp-free design that allowed us to achieve an incredibly harmonious sound. In addition, we decided to use polystyrene capacitors, which contribute significantly to the high-end sound of the Phono Box S2 Ultra. These capacitors are widely known in the audiophile scene as the holy grail for phono preamplifiers. The split RIAA equalization used allows an accurate implementation of the RIAA equalization curve, a luxury feature that many other phono preamplifiers do not have.
