From Here To ... Everywhere

Micala and Dean, her sweetheart from the past, make an effort to cobble together a life for themselves. Micala's mental illness begins to manifest itself in strange ways, although she is still able to keep pursuing her ultimate dream of being with Dean. They face opposition, roadblocks and interference. Their life together is like walking through a maze ... able only to see a few steps ahead of them, and not knowing if the next corner they turn will bring resolution or another dead end. Having overcome many obstacles to be together, Micala and Dean search for emotional peace by physically separating themselves from the past. They leave all the known quantities in their lives and take only what they need to live on a cross country RV trip. Their ultimate journey lasts several years and covers the entire continental United States. They are finally in control of their own lives and destiny, and can choose carefully those people they allow back into their lives. During most of their travels, they feel they have found an oasis with each other in the midst of a barren desert. They also encounter difficulties that neither could have seen lay in wait.
