The mixer is black in colour, and the 2U rack unit is analogue, so you get that classic sound without any digital interference.

I have bought a brand new replacement A&H headphone socket at a cost of £20, which comes with the purchase, as there has recently been an intermittent crackle on the headphones when switching between channels. It only happens occasionally, and i planned on replacing it but haven't got around to it. I also replaced one of the tone arm weights with a brand new, original Technics 1210 tone arm weight at a cost of £65. Its an ideal replacement and balance is perfect, but obviously, its a much higher end part than the original Gemini part, so adds to the value and quality of the setup.
