Survival Herbs for Beginners

In modern situations, our first instinct is to take a pharmaceutical medication for whatever the ailment is is we are experiencing. Most people do not realize there is a safer alternative with the medicinal plants God put on this earth. Pharmaceuticals can be toxic and harmful to your body. If there is a healthier alternative, why not try it? In a survival situation, you may not be able to run to your local store and grab a bottle of synthetic vitamins and minerals (which are not good for you anyways) to supplement your body of the nutrients you are lacking in a normal American diet. The land gives us what we need to survive, both food and medicine. The earth and plants were designed with humans in mind and the resources were meant to be used. With the correct knowledge of plants and how to use them medicinally, you can learn how to take care of yourself and your family in times of need. Even if you never use herbs medicinally for you or your family, you never know when you may need to barter your knowledge in a survival situation.
