LETA HERMAN is an author, Five Elements and Chinese Medicine teacher, nationally certified acupressure practitioner, and co-author of The Energy of Love (Llewellyn 2014) and Connecting Your Circle (Born Perfect(R) Ink 2014). A Smith College graduate and former nationally syndicated journalist, Leta has immersed herself in the philosophies of Daoism, Alchemical Healing, and Chinese Medicine, as well as many other healing modalities. Leta has learned Gua Sha from some of the best teachers in the world and is thrilled to bring this Gua Sha book to the world. She has devoted the past fifteen years to learning everything possible about Chinese Medicine theories and techniques. In other aspects of life, Leta is also a world explorer who speaks multiple languages, loves life, her family, and can never resist a challenging game of Boggle.
