This is the keenly awaited, newly revised and updated reprint of this justly popular work.

"The book is a one of a kind, not to be missed experience. It is the direct result of years of personal experience, figuring things out for myself and coming up with a workable system to approaching tying that is logical and simple. What makes it different from anything else you've ever read is that it is not a book about tyings steps but rather a book about ideas. The book is a tying philosophy more than anything else. I got so bored with the conventional 'follow the numbers' way that tying got taught and felt there was a need for an alternative approach, hence writing this book."

Chapters include: The first wrap; Design; Be prepared; Materials; Mechanics; Diawl Bach; CDC and Biot Nymph; Perdigon; Plaza Pupa; Papa Roach; Dragon Nugget; The Killers; Squirmy Wormy; The Snake; The gun; Dry fly design; Parachutes; Macaw Midge; Para Rab; Fred's Shuck Emerger; Micro patterns; CDC Dun; Easy Peasy Hopper; Balbyter; Wolf Spider; Whip finish.

"I rate this book among the very best ever published on that oft-times confounding, but always captivating addiction, called fly-tying." (Tom Sutcliffe).

PARCELS BELOW 2KG are sent by Royal Mail, and will normally be delivered by the postman, 3 - 5 days after despatch.

PARCELS OVER 2KG are sent by Royal Mail’s Tracked Service. A TRACKING NUMBER is provided with all such orders. The parcel will be delivered the NEXT WORKING DAY, or in some parts of the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Scilly, the Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands, the SECOND WORKING DAY.

OVERSEAS POSTAGE is charged by weight, at cost and is generally sent by Airmail. The postage quoted on this listing has been reduced by £3.50 to account for the £3.50 already included in the price of the book (as explained above).

US CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE! Airmail parcels entering the USA are inspected by HOMELAND SECURITY. This can include opening the mail sack. Parcels to US addresses can therefore be delayed and sometimes take up to four weeks. We must ask US customers to be very patient - we have now sent out many replacement parcels only to see the original arrive before the replacement. In our experience (30 years, tens of thousands of parcels), almost NO parcels are ever actually lost.

ALL CUSTOMERS, EVERYWHERE, please allow at least 14 days before contacting us to chase up your order.

(In the UK the Royal Mail will not declare a parcel lost & take action before 14 days has elapsed. Overseas, postal services vary in efficiency from country to country. The Irish and the Japanese post offices seem quite good, for example, the Germans less so, and South Africa the slowest by a long way.)

RETURNS are made under the terms of the UK Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 and eBay rules. IMPORTANT: If you are considering returning an item for any reason, you must contact us first to let us know you want to return your parcel. Returned items must be conscientiously re-wrapped, the easiest thing is to use the original packaging, providing this remains in good condition. Overseas customers considering returning an item, please get in touch with us in advance to discuss.
