This hardbound book describes not only Navajo Blankets but also the Navajo lifestyle and the area in which they lived. It has numerous b&w photos and wonderful color plates of early blankets in the author's collection. It is inscribed, signed and dated on the half title page. The cover is soiled and worn especially at margins and inner front hinge is beginning to crack but contents are in good+ condition. It measures 7 1/2" by 9 1/2" and has gilt titles and a photo insert on the front cover. The photos show the actual item for sale and are not stock photos. This is a very hard to find title, especially a signed first edition copy.
