Nicky Rolland is a Kripalu yoga teacher and a Four Winds Society trained shaman. A mother of three daughters, Nicky's passion for healing and her time spent in meditation and contemplation have enabled her to create a world view that is relevant, informed and insightful. The trajectory of Nicky's career has mirrored the issues and interest discussed in this book. She began her career in energy medicine by offering private healing sessions to friends and family. She then branched out to teaching about consciousness and energy through workshops, talks and guided mediations on her radio show and in weekly blogs on her blogsite.
