Mid-century 9ct white gold and blue zircon solitaire ring
Dating to mid-century, this sensational ring features a striking blue zircon mounted in a 9ct white gold crown setting with tapering shoulders and a D-shaped shank.
The zircon is a beautiful, vivid sky-blue colour and has a double refraction which means twice the facets and twice the fire! It measures a considerable 7.8mm and has a total carat weight of 2.00ct. It is worth noting that there are some typical inclusions and minor abrasion to the facets, however the gemstone's brilliance makes up for the wear which is not noticeable when worn.
