It's a very common problem that the exhaust manifold in the Smart gets overheated and fissures.
Smart only sells the complete exhaust manifold including the exhaust turbo charger which costs 700-800 EUR.
As the turbo charger is not damaged normally, it's also possible to replace only the exhaust manifold that is offered in this auction.

Before purchasing it is essential that you note any restrictions concerning engine number / engine code in the vehicle table.
