STITCHCRAFT APRIL 1964

Vintage copy of the long-running magazine.

Each edition has a mix of knitting and embroidery patterns, plus sometimes rugs, crochet and other crafts.

Knitting patterns (as shown) are in a range of yarns and sizes - each edition usually contains one pattern for "the fuller figure".  Patterns are in a range of yarns and sizes - if you fall in love with a particular design and want details, please ask.

The magazine always has some embroidery patterns which require transfers which of course are no longer available.  I have not shown pictures of these.  If an item is shown in the pictures, it means that the chart for it is in the magazine.

Of course, there are always lots of lovely period advertisements too!

My charges are based on posting in a board-backed envelope, which is how most people seem to like to receive their items. However, if you would like me to post in a soft envelope, and/or folded, which may reduce the price a little, do let me know. I will always combine, too, and give a discount on postage if you have bought more than one item, as long as you let me know that's what you want me to do. Any problems, please let me know at once so I can try to resolve them.

All my patterns are originals.  I do not sell scans, copies or downloads

10% of your purchase price, plus Gift Aid, will go to The Charities Advisory Trust which is the parent organisation of Knit for Peace.  Knit for Peace distributes donated knitted items to over 80 outlets, including hospitals, women’s refuges, refugee drop in centres, prisons, community groups, and hospices as well as to developing countries. They never sell the clothes donated; they send them where they are needed. They also pass on donations of yarn and needles to enable people on low incomes to knit. The operation has grown organically, and they estimate they have over 11,000 knitters.  I knit regularly for Knit for Peace – you could too! See knitforpeace.org.uk.
