1934 GEORGE WASHINGTON SCHOOL PIN

UNION CITY, NEW JERSEY

We found this old school two-part pin in the back of an old vanity drawer at an old Union City, NJ home we recently liquidated.  

The main enameled gold tone piece measures 1/2" square.  Reverse marked "Havens & Co. - New York".  Also the initials "WL" are stamped on back.

No indication of metal's composition, perhaps gold?

What a great addition to any Union City or Hudson County, NJ collection!
