Thanks for looking at my listing for a Buffalo PC-P3LWG/DVD-1 LinkTheater Media Player & multi-region DVD player from 2005/6

Owned from new, but hardly used. Packed away in the original box with remote control, UK plug and software CD.

This was one of the first HD (using component connection) home media streamers and the included Buffalo software allows you to stream content from a PC, as an alternative to DLNA, but it will also pick up your DLNA servers and folders.

Wired or 802.11g wireless to stream multimedia content, Built-in Progressive Scan DVD player supports DVD/SVCD and data formats, WMV and WMVHD playback, Supports regular TV and HDTV (720p and 1080i) formats, Remote control to browse your files. UPnP Support.

Please note that this player does not have a standard HDMI connector and instead uses component RCA jacks for a HD picture. Connection can also be completed using standard AV cable with RCA jacks or an S-Video cable

Multi-region: There is a code that you can type in on the remote to enable multi-region, in case you restore to factory settings:

Press Setup, navigate to the DVD menu, next press “slow” then “2960”

Set to Region 0 to be able to play any disc.

A nice piece of early home networking equipment to add to your collection.

As a bonus, I’ve included 3 DVD movies.
