This is an old stock certificate from the Southwestern Telephone Company, issued to Maria C. Blackburn for 7 shares on Aug. 12, 1896 and signed by Vice President M. C. Blackburn and Secretary C. J. O'Keeffe (those names are as near as I can tell, may not be 100% accurate).  Embossed seal at lower left states Durango, Colorado.
