This design was originally manufactured in 2013. It has been vigorously tested, updated, and upgraded over the years. The parts and design keeps the build cost low, while giving you a reliable long lasting machine.
The gantry brackets can be plasma cut, but we do recommend they be cut with laser or water jet for a much smoother process.

Features and further details
The gantry is designed to operate on 2x4 tubing. (14 gauge). This assures strong support and longevity.
- X Axis: You will notice that the X axis has a front carriage and a rear carriage. In my years of building CNC machines, I have found this to be the most dependable way to prevent any tilting due to the weight of the Z axis. It is also crucial to be able to do wood routing.
- Y Axis: The Y axis (running front to back) has carriages much deeper than many standard carriages. With this, it allows you to be able to run your gantry at high speeds while preventing any unwanted rocking.
- Z Axis: The Z Axis is designed to accommodate an 80mm spindle or a plasma machine torch. The design is also inclusive of a floating head. You can retrofit your own Z axis, however this design has been proven very effective with amazing ease of use.
