Beautiful crisp aerometric fill Parker 51 in India Black with gold filled cap in the converging lines pattern. Date code for last quarter of 1948. Fine point nib.

Sharp lines on the cap with molten edges, clear engraving. The barrel imprint is nice and clear. There are a few nicks on the edge of the barrel, see photos. Inside the barrel, the plyglass sac is nice and clear.

The pen is as found, unrestored. Tested with water, the pen fills, but for long-term reliable function, it's best to have it restored. The pen looks as if it might never have been inked, but there were traces of old ink in the nib when I tested it, so it has been dipped in ink at some point.

This is the full-size aerometric pen, about 5  3/8 inches long.
