1875 (dated 1292): Sanar value in brown violet, on horizontally laid paper, position 15 on the sheet, with wide outer circle variety.

A very fine unused example of a very scarce and undercatalogued  stamp.

Only one stamp out of 10 shows this variety (only on position 15 in the sheet)

Compare the catalogue values in the Kohl Handbuch of 1926 for this stamp = Kohl 12 Ib = 200 Mark and the famous 1871-72 6 Shahi lilac = Kohl 4 = 400 Mark, this gives a good relation for what the correct catalogue value should be.
