Please see images and condition description

I travel often, I have a 5 business day shipping handling time between purchase and shipping. Please keep in mind when purchasing. I do not make money on shipping so items are well packed and that may include extra weight. I ship small items strictly by Priority Mail & Parcel Post. Larger heavier items may be shipped via Fed Ex/UPS Ground.

We do not end auctions early.

I purchased this from the West L.A. estate of actress Louise Fletcher last year. I was privileged to be invited to attend this sale at her condo.

Circa 1860, Victorian Staffordshire statue of John Wesley (1703-1791), leader of the Wesleyan Methodist movement in England.

Good overall condition with no cracks or breaks, some paint loss, crazing and a band of brown on back. Not sure if this is from being on a fireplace, I did a uv light and it fluoresces "spotily" (my own word). I think it is a flaw since the front is fine and it doesn't look like your typical repair. Use your own judgement.

Provenance: From the L.A. estate of Academy Award winning actress Louise Fletcher.

Measures about 11”” tall x 5.5” wide x 3” at its deepest. Weighs 1 lb  14 oz before packing.

Guaranteed authentic Staffordshire and not a later copy or fake.

Items I sell are not new. They have been used so do not expect mint condition unless otherwise noted. Measurements are approximate and may not be totally exact. Keep this in mind when bidding.

**International Buyers Please Note:   We will not falsify customs declarations or mark an item as a "gift".
