Medieval Teutonic Shield Wall -28mm (1/56)  from Northern Crusades

A crusader command set containing three individual soldiers/crusaders with separate shields. The Bishop is at the front with his mace which historically were used as they should not make the enemy bleed... Behind the Bishop there is a banner carrier, a medieval infantryman in chainmail, note only left leg has chainmail as this leg would be in front when standing in a shield wall. The second figure is the guard, in full chainmail and with drawn sword.
