SONY WM-WX1 1995 Silver Walkman Vintage Cassette Player Made in Japan Tested

SONY WM-WX1 was released in 1995 as the the first wireless type cord winding Walkman. The WM-WX1 is a model that inherits the functions of WM-EX1. The serial number is D 100844.

There are two small cracks at the screw location on the outer rubber. Other than that, it's in such good condition that it's hard to believe it's a product from about 30 years ago. Of course the sound is also good.

We have confirmed the sound output, Play, Repeat, REW, FF and Aut reverse with both Gumstick battery and aa battery. It works fine.

Original drive belt has been replaced to brand new. Belt contact surface cleaned and lightly polished. And Head cleaned and demagnetized with cleanig tape several times.

Note:This cassette player works with gum stick batteries or AA batteries. When using AA batteries, an external battery case is required.　This item does not come with a battery case or a battery.
