This vintage 1961 Impala SS409 diecast car from Ertl's American Muscle series is a must-have for any collector and is a great candidate for a diorama. The attention to detail in this 1:64 scale model is impressive, with accurate portrayals of the real car's design and features. This Ertl American Muscle diecast car is a beautiful representation of the 1961 Impala SS409, complete with all the intricate details that make this car iconic. The build quality is exceptional, as expected from Ertl, and the scale accurately represents the size of the original car.  I bought this car recently in a collection.  As you can clearly see, the windshield is cracked. The front "A" pillars also have a slight bend to them. It is also missing the driver's side mirror.  The passenger side mirror IS THERE.  This is a rare car and they go for a big price sometimes.  This one is a great candidate for a diorama.  You can put it in a "body shop" diorama or a used car lot diorama or a junk yard diorama.  You can also do a city diorama where real cars are often vandalized.    Don't miss out on the chance to add this rare and collectible car to your collection.  The car has beautiful intricate details like an opening trunk with a tire.  ALL of the tires are real rubber tires too.  Check out the engine compartment.

If you like want to do a junkyard diorama, just toss a spoonful of dirt on it and you are set!    Anyway, let me know if you need more photos.  I will wrap this car well and ship in a small, sturdy box.  Tracking is always included too. The car is about 3 3/8" long.

This is a hard to find car.  I have seen some go for more than 40 dollars.
