If you're a fan of early rock n' roll, then check out this AMAZING vintage item! It is a GENUINE ORIGINAL cancelled check issued in 1970 to legendary Georgia DJ Johnny "Bee' (Johnny B. Mosses); it was written to The Bushmen (incorrectly spelled "Bushman" on the front!!) and is personally endorsed on the back by Johnny Bee in ballpoint pen.

Johnny was a disk jockey at WACL radio station in Waycross, Georgia and he booked a variety of bands locally including the Bushmen, Strange Bedfellows, Roemans, Candymen, James Gang, King David and the Slaves, and others. His weekend dances were known as the Bee Baby Hops. In 1964 Mosses was name Mr. DJ USA and was a guest on the Grand Ole Opry. He left radio to book, managing, and promoting bands and shows. Under Johnnys guidance a group from Douglas, The Bushmen, became the most popular band in Georgia in the 60s, opening for and outshining the Rolling Stones at Georgia Southern in 1965!!
