antique pre 1920’s Art Deco ELGIN WRISTWATCH WATCH BOX . This Elgin box is original. I think that it is for a ladies wristwatch, but it could be for mens. I am not sure.
BOX: This box is rectangular and
octagonal. It is gold in color and has a
large eagle on the top. It is hinged and
signed on the inside: ELGIN . Inside, there is a wristwatch holder. I think that this is for a ladies watch… It
is signed under the old red velour watch holder: PATENT NO. 1,619,822 .
SIZE:
About 4 ¾ inches long. 2 ½ inches
wide. 1 ½ inches high/thick.
CONDITION: The
watch box is in very nice original condition.
