Antique Victorian Custard Glass Hand Painted Pickle Fruit Jam Pears GF Lid

Listed here is an antique custard glass pickle or fruit jar with excellently hand painted fruit
decorations. A pair of pears dangles from a top branch while five individual leaves
dangle from other branches. The top features a a gold leaf finish construction and a lid
with a tiny hole in a side for a thin spoon. An attached handle makes it easy to
pick up and move. Smaller size than most pickle jars. Must have been for some
kind of fruit concoction, perhaps for pancakes or waffles?
So Pretty!

Measures 3 3/4” Long x 4 7/8” High to of jat (6 1/2” High overall)

Excellent condition. No chips, cracks or damages. Some wear on the gold finish pieces.
A scratch or two on the glass itself. Finial is a bit loose on the lid. See photos.
