CHANEL ESPRIT CROISIERE DECORATIVE SAND BOX.

This delightful sandbox was a promotional piece from Chanel.

It measures 3-1/4 x 3-1/4 x 3/4 inches.

The box is a made from a heavy stiff paper product and the top is a heavy clear plastic. The sides of the box are decorated with a blue and white strips all around. The box features a blue and white drawing of a summer beach scene on the French Riviera. Sealed inside the box are grains of dark blue sand that swish around when you move the box.

The phrase “Esprit Croisiere” translates “cruising spirit”.

The sand box comes with an outer box, on this box, one flap has a minor dent that is unseen when closed. It was tight to open when I took the sandbox out for photos thus I made this dent.

It has never been displayed nor used. It has been stored in a smoke-free home.

It is a lovely reminder of the leisurely days of summer!
