1929 – 2022

 

Swedish American

 

Born in Stockholm. His father was a Swedish diplomat stationed in New York City. He was schooled in the US when elementary school in Chicago studied at Yale then went to The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.Made his name with Public Art Installation of large-scale replicas of every day objects. His exhibitions at MoMa NY, Tate Gallery London Whitney Museum NY and may more of the most prestigious museums and galleries of the world. Died in New York City in 2022
