This listing is for an antique, slate, 2-sided chalkboard that was very popular for school children in the 1700-1800's. If it could talk, just think of the stories this primitive piece could tell! The wood has staining and wear to the color, but is sturdy. The slate has some scratches & groves, but still usable, if needed. A wonderful, primitive piece!
