Offered for your consideration is this Antique Red & Green Jeweled Carbide Search Light Bicycle Lamp by the Bridgeport Brass Co of Bridgeport, CT. Approx dimensions: 8" high x 3.5" wide x 8" deep with the clamp attachment (5" deep without) and it weighs in at 1 lb 7.2 oz. Condition: very good with surface wear consistent with age and use including some tarnish, surface scratches minor dings. The red and green jewels are excellent and slide up so you can light the lamp. There is a convex lens on the front to focus and concentrate the light. (carries a very small hairline that I show best in photo 7). On the back of the inside of the housing there is a metal reflector to increase light output. The bottom portion of the housing is vented to permit the intake of combustion air and top of the lamp is vented to dissipate heat and smoke. PAT dates on the clamp attachment (photo 10) and on the bottom side of the removable inside reservoir in base (photo 11). On the last photo I show a few advertisements I found online stating this model was manufactured by the Bridgeport Brass Co. Advertisements are not included. May need some cleaning upon arrival ...depending on the digression of the new owner.
